About the team

Paris Saint-Germain were founded on 12 August 1970, when Paris FC and Stade Saint-Germain merged to give the capital a top-flight club of its own. They play at the Parc des Princes, and Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has been president since 2011. Supporters know them as Les Parisiens, or Les Rouge-et-Bleu.

At home, PSG have become the benchmark. They have won 14 Ligue 1 titles, the latest in 2025/26, which was their fifth in a row, and captain Marquinhos holds the league record for most titles, with 11. Europe was the harder prize. PSG won their first Champions League in 2025, beating Inter Milan in the final, and kept it in May 2026, beating Arsenal on penalties in Budapest after a 1-1 draw.

That makes Luis Enrique's side the holders, and the club is chasing the first three-peat in the competition since Real Madrid a decade ago. Their main domestic rival is Olympique de Marseille, in the fixture known as Le Classique.

For Arena Bulletin, PSG are a constant presence in our Champions League coverage, where they meet several of the clubs we already follow, Manchester City among them.
