The 2026 Davis Cup Final 8 will run in Bologna from Tuesday 24 to Sunday 29 November, and the quarter-finals are now set. Italy, the hosts and winners of the last three editions, open against debutants South Korea on Wednesday 25 November. The draw was made on 22 September at the Palazzo Pepoli, and the schedule was confirmed on 24 September.

Italy, Spain, Germany and Czechia were the seeded teams, ranked one to four in that order, and Great Britain, Austria, Canada and South Korea were unseeded. Fourth seed Czechia play Canada in the opening tie on Tuesday, and the winner meets the Italy v South Korea winner in the first semi-final. In the bottom half, third seed Germany play Great Britain and second seed Spain play Austria. South Korea are the first Asian nation to reach the Final 8, and the field was completed on the weekend of 18 to 20 September. Our report on the qualifiers has the full story.

Germany, Zverev and Great Britain

Germany and Great Britain meet in the day session on Thursday 26 November, and the winner plays the Austria v Spain winner in the second semi-final. Alexander Zverev won both his singles when Germany beat Croatia 3-1 in Halle over the weekend of 19 and 20 September. According to the German tennis federation, it is the third year in a row that Germany have qualified for the Final 8. They have not won the Davis Cup since 1993. Great Britain, ten-time champions, are back in Bologna for the first time since 2023 after beating Ecuador 4-0 in London.

No squads have been named for Bologna, so it is not confirmed who will play in November. Italy will be without Jannik Sinner, who has said a knee injury ends his 2026 season.
