Michael Olise is a France winger who has played for Bayern Munich since July 2024, when he joined from Crystal Palace.
Born in London, he passed through the academies of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City before joining Reading, where he made his senior debut in the Championship as a teenager. Crystal Palace signed him in the summer of 2021, and three seasons in the Premier League turned him into one of the most sought-after attackers in England.
He is left-footed and plays mostly on the right, cutting inside to shoot or to thread passes between defenders. Bayern use him as a creator and a scorer, and France have also given him a more central role behind the striker.
Olise represented France at under-18 and under-21 level before making his senior debut in September 2024.
