Gonçalo Ramos

Gonçalo Ramos is a Portuguese striker who plays for AC Milan. He was born in Olhão, in the Algarve, came through Benfica's academy and later played for Paris Saint-Germain.

He is a mobile centre-forward rather than a target man. He runs the channels, attacks the space behind defences and finishes best from close range, so he tends to score from the movements and cut-backs that other creators set up for him.

For Portugal he has moved from a promising understudy to the player who leads the attack. Under Jorge Jesus he has started in place of Cristiano Ronaldo, which makes his form a central part of how the national team is judged now.
