Bukayo Saka

Winger

England

Arsenal

Bukayo Saka is a winger for Arsenal and England, born in Ealing to Nigerian parents and a product of the club's Hale End academy, which he joined at seven. He came into the first team as an emergency left-back and was moved to the right wing, the position he has owned since.

He is a one-on-one player who works the touchline rather than drifting inside, and he has been among the most fouled players in England for several seasons, a fact that says as much about how opponents defend him as about his own style.

He missed the decisive penalty in the Euro 2020 final at nineteen and was subjected to racist abuse afterwards; the way he returned to the England side, and reached another final at Euro 2024, became one of the defining stories of that generation. He was part of the Arsenal team that won the 2025/26 Premier League, the club's first title in twenty-two years.
