Austin Reaves

Austin Reaves is a guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, born in Newark, Arkansas, to two parents who both played college basketball at Arkansas State. He spent two seasons at Wichita State before transferring to Oklahoma, where he finished his college career in 2021.

He went undrafted that summer and signed a two-way contract with the Lakers in August 2021, which was converted to a standard deal before the season began. He started every game of the Lakers' run to the 2023 Western Conference finals and re-signed with the club on a four-year deal that July.

In July 2026 he re-signed again, on a four-year contract that was the largest ever signed by an undrafted NBA player at the time. He is the partner to Luka Dončić in the backcourt the franchise chose to build around after LeBron James left.
